Sally Rogers’s (Rose Marie’s) off-and-on boyfriend on “The Dick Van Dyke Show” was Herman Glimscher, played by Bill Idelson.
After appearing on “The Dick Van Dyke Show,” Idelson became a comedy writer.
He also produced many of the episodes of “The Bob Newhart Show” (CBS, 1972-78) in its first year.
